Medical Micro Machining was started in 1994 by Rob Whitmore and Edgar Freer in Simi Valley, CA. Mr. Whitmore became the sole stockholder in 2001. The company was initially involved in manufacture of dental lab equipment components. Bioresorbable screws were added to output in the mid 90’s.
As the company grew, it became involved in electronic technology, aerospace, and numerous other industries, while the main focus remains in the medical field.
Over time, more advanced machines were added to increase production capabilities. In 2007, Medical Micro Machining moved to Colfax, WA. Since that time, equipment has been upgraded further and CAD/CAM capabilities have been greatly improved through additional personnel.
